Derek Reisfield

Investor, entrepreneur, management consultant and corporate executive with more than 30 years of experience in media, technology and telecom industries. As a senior engagement manager for McKinsey, Derek specialized in turnarounds for global media companies. He left McKinsey to assist Westinghouse as Vice President of Business Development with its acquisition of CBS in 1996 and was appointed President of CBS Interactive.

He is the Founder or Co-Founder of several firms, including MarketWatch. Derek co-founded BBN Networks, where he served as Chairman until the company’s sale in 2015. Derek is a graduate of Wesleyan University and earned his master’s degree from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California.
